Os GEMEOS are graffiti brothers and identical twin brothers, they started painting in 1987 gradually becoming the main influencers in the local scene, helping to define Brazil’s street style.

Their work often features yellow skinned characters – taken from the yellow tinge both of the twins have in their dreams- but otherwise their work is diverse and ranges between tags to complicated murals. Subjects range from family portraits to commentary on Sao Paulo’s social and political circumstances, as well as Brazilian folklore. Their graffiti style was influenced by both hip hop style and Brazilian culture.

The below artwork by Brazilian twins was their first lithography ever in the oldest print shop in Paris, IDEM founded in 1852 where the works of Matisse, Picasso, Moro and Chagall have all been printed.
